Track Descriptions

This year we are excited to add new specialty tracks to the OPSWorld lineup. For Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning you can choose from four specialty tracks. Three of the tracks are “Black Belt” tracks. These tracks are designed for experienced, technical users and will be led by Opsware engineers, consultants, and customers. Each of the Black Belt tracks feature two hands-on lab sessions. The fourth track is an IT generalist track. Designed for IT managers and non-technical users, this track covers a wide variety of reporting, process, and implementation best practices.

Network Automation Black Belt Track
Interested in the latest enhancements in Network Automation System 7? Want to learn how to use the Network Automation System API? Interested in how you can use the policy manager more effectively? Then this track is for you. Designed for experienced Network Automation System users, this track will feature sessions from Opsware’s most experienced Network Automation consultants and customers.

Server Automation Black Belt Track
Are you using the latest software management capabilities? Have you implemented The Opsware Network security alert service? Want to learn how others are developing on top of the Opsware Global Shell? The Server Automation Black Belt track is packed with deep dive sessions led by Opsware’s engineers and support staff.

Process Automation Black Belt Track
Are you using the latest features in Studio to author flows? Interested in implementing a geographically distributed, highly available and secure architecture? Want to tie together your service desk and monitoring solutions and integrate them with server and network provisioning tasks? Then this track is for you. Designed for experienced Process Automation System users, this track features sessions from Opsware’s most experienced consultants and customers.

IT Generalist Track
Are you interested in tapping into the benefits of IT Process automation? Want to get the most out of your Server or Network Automation solution through seamless integration with your service desk and monitoring tools? Interested in implementing a geographically distributed, highly available and secure architecture? Then this track is for you. Designed for Process Automation enthusiasts and experienced users alike, this track features sessions from Opsware’s most experienced consultants and customers.
